About ETSLSG

Our mission is to empower older adults by advancing their digital and security literacy, in order to allow them to take charge of their personal well-being and internet safety. We provide hands-on device training, system repair, security checkups and consultations to assist later-life learners with high-risk aspects of technology. Some of the topics we cover include, but are not limited to device basics, device repair & troubleshooting, fact checking, scam & malware identification / avoidance and digital hygiene.

IT Solutions

Tailored Support

Our IT solutions aim to provide unique support and assistance, specifically crafted to cater to the specific needs of older adults. We offer a range of services to support communities and individuals. These include, but are not limited to:
 

  • Diagnostic services and repair for desktops, laptops, smartphones & connectivity devices (E.g. Hearing Aids, speech-recognition devices, keyboards, mice, speakers, etc.)

  • IT security, which includes virus identification / removal, device hardening (increasing the security of your devices), attack impact assessment, etc.

Training Sessions

Educational Workshops

Join us for educational workshops designed and taught by professionals and experts to:

  • Enhance digital literacy

  • Learn about scams and how to avoid them

  • Interact with family, friends and their community, digitally

  • Answer questions honestly about what we know, and teach you how to find accurate answers in the Age Of Misinformation


Our sessions cover a wide range of topics, from beginner to intermediate ensuring that attendees can stay informed and engaged.

Consulting Services

Expert Guidance

Benefit from expert consulting services tailored to address technological challenges of all levels, with no request being too "easy" or "complex", time being the only major stop-gap. Our consultations provide practical solutions and valuable insights to support individuals in their digital journey.

Common subjects tend to include:

  • How to use a new devices or install a specific app

  • How to stay safe while travelling

  • What should I do now that Windows 10 is no longer supported? And what does that even mean?

  • Is this a virus?

We are currently in discussion with a number of community support structures for 2026.
